This is a classic, vintage style one of a kind t-shirt. It features the iconic skyline silhouette and has been designed by a local artist to look like an old fashioned wooden ship. This shirt was hand made in California by Kickstart Creative Team at their studio on Bayshore Blvd., Santa Monica, CA in 2008. The production process consisted of painting the shirt with acetone and then applying numerous layers of protective vinyl to protect it both from dye and acrylic paint (the latter making the fabric feel softer). Approximately 100 shirts were produced for each artwork before going out into market through Kickstarter’s online crowdfunding service. Yes you saw it, I know why. It’s too much to explain. This is what we are going for; fun and casual with geekily riffs on the way some people wear their clothes.
