The Harlem Hellfighters were the largest African American fighting force during World War I in Europe. The 108-member unit was commanded by Colonel William T. Sherman, one of the generals who led the famous U.S. Army’s famed “Sherman defense” at Gettysburg that prevented Union forces from gaining a decisive victory over German forces there in July 1862. This is a great online store. I want to buy a shirt made of the history of Harlem Hellfighters and WWI WWII. It has enough detail to be called “great”.

Harlem Hellfighters Vintage Black History Soldiers WWI WWII Shirt, hoodie, sweater and long sleeve
The Harlem Hellfighters were a pioneer of the Black community in New York City during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They came from Harlem, a predominantly African-American neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. The Hellfuries are also known as “The Hellfighters’ Soldiers” because they served in World War I. A vintage colored military black hat in this muscle image from the Harlem Hellfighters. The band-aid is printed on top left and it looks to be a large size, perhaps about 14”X18”. The back has an oval section for a picture in the pocket but that does not seem to be printed either. I’m guessing that’s some sort of light paint job since these figures are very flimsy and could crumble easily if you drop them when wearing them.

When I was little I used to play with my brothers and sisters that had one of the hellfighters. I loved playing with that shirt. It was a great shirt. I wore it in the summer whenever I played with my friends. I wore it to school and to work. I wore it out and I loved it. I’m glad I got the chance to wear it today.

This was one of the coolest looking things I have seen thus far. The only thing that held this shirt back was the lack of white on the chest. To be fair, the Unisex sizing is a bit of a stretch of the truth. The white on the chest is awesome, but the shirt is not. This shirt is a great buy. I am keeping it proudly on my wall for many years to come.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this buy. The item comes in a cool little bag with a sticker on it. I was surprised at how well packed the item was, and how good it was in my hands. Made of soft cotton and turned out to be super soft and comfortable. I really liked the color and feel of the shirt. I would recommend to a friend. I know that it was a gift for friends.

Nice shirt. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it is a little narrow for me. The cloth is nice, but the material is very thin and the stitching is on the bottom. It would be better if it was a little wider, but that’s all I am giving. I do like the quilt pattern and the design.

While I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. It fit like a glove. The print is a little different than what I was expecting, but it’s still a pretty good design. I’m 5’10 and 180 pounds, and it fit me perfectly. I’m able to feel the fabric, and the fit is more like a regular sized shirt than a button up. It’s a good fit for a guy like me. The shirt was a little small for my taste, but I think it would fit anyone else. The material is really nice, and it’s a great shirt to wear to work. It’s a cool design, and it’s also pretty affordable.
